Privacy Policy

Salsa Systems is a sole trader business operated by Andrew Riascos Millar (ABN 20 588 929 132), based in the Northern Rivers, New South Wales. This policy explains what personal information I collect, why I collect it, and what I do with it.

What I collect

When you enquire through a Facebook or Instagram enquiry form, this website, a phone call, a text message or email, I may collect:

• Your name
• Your phone number and email address
• Your business name and the area you work in
• Details about your business, such as how many jobs you do, typical job value, where your work comes from and any advertising you currently run
• Any other details you choose to tell me

I do not collect payment card details through this website or through any enquiry form.

Why I collect it

• To contact you about your enquiry and arrange a call
• To work out whether my services are a good fit for your business
• To provide services if you become a client, including setting up and reporting on advertising
• To invoice you and keep business records as required by Australian law
• To follow up if you asked me to, or to let you know about related services

How I contact you

If you submit an enquiry, you are asking me to get in touch, so I will contact you by phone, SMS or email about that enquiry. Some replies may be sent automatically by my systems. If I ever send you anything promotional, every message will include a way to opt out, and you can tell me to stop at any time by replying STOP to a text, or by calling or emailing me.

Who else sees it

I use a small number of trusted service providers to run the business. Your information may be stored or processed by:

• HighLevel: the customer management system I use to store enquiries, messages and appointments
• Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram): where you submit an enquiry form on one of my ads, Meta passes your responses to me and also handles that information under its own Data Policy
• Google: for business email and calendar

Some of these providers store data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States.

I do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anybody. I only share it where I have to, such as with the providers above, or where required by law.

How long I keep it

I keep enquiry and client records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet Australian tax and record-keeping obligations, which is generally seven years for financial records. If you ask me to delete your details and I am not legally required to keep them, I will.

Keeping it safe

Your information is held in password-protected accounts with the providers listed above. No system is perfectly secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.

Your choices

You can ask me to:

• Tell you what information I hold about you
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Delete your details
• Stop contacting you

Just ask, using the contact details below. I will respond within a reasonable time and there is no charge.

Cookies

This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies and has no forms. Google Fonts is used to display the text on the page. If this changes, this policy will be updated first.

Children

This is a service for businesses. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date at the top.
